Today, January 13th, 2022 is the start of something great! I could not be more excited to officially launch our website. This process has been a lot of fun! Building a brand has been something I have been part of when opening Hotels & Resorts, but this is different, this is all MINE! And it feels really good! I thought it might be fun to share how the website came about and the thought that was put into it!
I decided to hire out a company to assist in making sure my vision came through in the brand! With Grace and Gold was able to help create something I am really proud of. I think when you are asked what your company is and who does it speak to, it really puts things in perspective. We are an event planning company, sure, but what sets us apart? I sit amongst some amazingly talented Event Planners, no doubt. I think what I think about when planning events is the overall memory I am creating for clients. My tag line “Today’s special moments are tomorrow’s memories”, is really what I feel very passionate about. After planning an event for sometimes a year or better with a client, it is the best feeling to see their face when it all comes together. Their feeling that the money and planning was all worth it! This is why I do what I do!
The Emblem- I loved the emblem that With Grace and Gold created. The sunrise, sunset emblem is a feel good thought for me. For many either the sunrise or sunset is their favorite part of the day. For me, they are both so special. Sunrise marks a fresh start. It is a feeling of excitement for me. Sunset is very spiritual for me. It is where I find peace with my day and all that came with it! I love that it is part of our logo!
Color & Texture- Because I am from the Southwest I really want to create a brand that spoke to who I am and how I got here. The textures and colors of the website represent that! I love a touch of color. It makes things feel happier for me and I am glad that we have color throughout the website! I want my clients to know that you do not have to do the norm. We can play with different ideas that make the event exactly how you want it!
Building the brand and website has been a lot of fun! It has made me really think about who are clients are and why they book us! I am basically selling me! Not a product, a service. How does one accomplish that in a website? I think you be true to who you are. We plan great events! We love what we do and we think it shows in our work! The diversity of events is something that makes everyday different and exciting. It challenges us constantly to brainstorm new ideas to create a unique experience for our clients. You have to vibe with your planner or it makes for a long planning process. We understand that planning an event can be stressful but we also know what the outcome is and trust me when I say, it is worth it!
